Number of Families who will receive a Holiday Meal Box This Year

Community Memorial Foundation will be matching gifts, dollar for dollar up to $10,000, for donations made by individuals before December 31st!  All qualifying contributions must come from new donors or must be increased donations from current donors over the previous year. Large donations of over $1,000 will apply, but only up to $1,000. This is a remarkable opportunity to raise an additional $10,000 to support our hunger assistance programs.

Another year is almost behind us and our supporters have again shown their determination to feed hungry people in northern Illinois.  With your help, the Food Bank provided over 389,000 meals to children last year and distributed over 22.5 million pounds of food.  Volunteers have logged well over 55,000 hours this year and, over the last few months, have assembled more than 27,000 Holiday Meal Boxes.  The Holiday Meal Boxes and the food distributed each month do more than just feed people; it provides hope. You have all made a difference in the lives of our hungry neighbors and have ensured a joyous holiday for many.
