Another year is almost behind us and our supporters have again shown their determination to feed hungry people in northern Illinois. Volunteers logged over 35,500 hours so far this year and, over the last few months, have assembled more than 24,000 Holiday Meal Boxes. These Holiday Meal Boxes provide a full meal, including turkey with all the fixings, for a family of eight and ensure that everyone in the community can enjoy the holidays. NIFB could not distribute the Holiday Meal Boxes without the hard work of our volunteers and everyone in the community who continues to donate their personal funds to sponsor the Holiday Meal Boxes. You have all made a difference in the lives of our hungry neighbors. On behalf of all of us at Northern Illinois Food Bank, we want to share our appreciation for everything you have done this year.
