Seasonal and Other Volunteer Needs:

Holiday Food Drive Assistance
Reliable drivers and assistants are needed for the holiday months of November, December and January to pick-up food from food drive sites in our 13-county service area. Duties include driving our company van to pick up food and other donated items, helping with map routing, and some lifting. Volunteers are needed weekdays from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Prefer volunteers who are available semi-regularly. For more information about becoming a holiday season driver or assistant please contact NIFB at 630.443.6910.

Speakers Committee
Tell others about hunger in northern Illinois. Speak at service clubs, churches, civic organizations and other community events sharing general information about Northern Illinois Food Bank. Assist a staff member at mission and community service fairs. Help increase hunger awareness and tell others how they can get involved with NIFB. Ongoing opportunities are available.
