Youth Shifts & School Programs
NIFB's Rockford Branch can provide opportunities for kids to tour and volunteer
at our facility in Rockford, Illinois. Youth, 3rd grade and older, are invited to help with various projects while contributing to society, and learning important lessons about hunger. Younger children are welcome to tour our facility while learning about hunger.
Are you a teacher interested in doing a volunteer project and educating your students on issues of hunger? Come and spend the morning volunteering in our warehouse. In addition to a 2-3 hour volunteer session, your students can participate in a lesson on hunger. Take this opportunity to introduce your students to hunger and poverty issues. To sign up for a
Youth Shift event, contact NIFB at 630.443.6910 ext 130 or email
volunteer@northernilfoodbank.org.
