Group Opportunities
The Lake County Branch of NIFB can accommodate individual volunteers and groups
of up to 35 people. Many companies and organizations find volunteering at NIFB
an excellent team-building experience. Shifts are between
2-4 hours.
Frozen Meat Evaluating & Sorting
Volunteers work with frozen meat from our Food Recovery Program. Our volunteers
inspect, sort, re-label and pack donated meat. There is some lifting required
and all positions require volunteers to stand on concrete floors.
