Northern Illinois Food Bank Ambassadors
for the Lake
County Fair
Volunteers needed to help spread the word about hunger in northern Illinois!
No experience necessary! Training provided! Volunteers will learn about NIFB,
its agency partners, volunteerism, America's Second Harvest and more!
After completing training, volunteers will be asked to help at NIFB's booth at
the Lake County Fair. Call the Lake County Branch at 847.336.3663

A training program will be held for anyone interested in helping to promote NIFB
at a Lake County Fair booth. Volunteers are needed Wednesday, July 25 through
Saturday, July 28 for varying shifts from 10 am to 10 pm and on Sunday, July
29th from 10 am until 6pm.
Training will be held June 21 from 10 am to Noon at the Lake County Branch
at 473 Keller Drive, Park City. Special times may be granted if you are unable
to attend; please contact the Lake County Branch at 847.336.3663.
The next step is to attend either a volunteer session on any Wednesday evening
or on Saturday morning, June 16. For more information, please call 847-336-3663.
The Lake County Branch of NIFB can accommodate individual volunteers and
groups of up to 25 people. Many companies and organizations find volunteering at
NIFB an excellent team-building experience. For planning purposes, volunteers
must sign up in advance by contacting NIFB at 847.336.3663.
Groups of 10 to 25 are welcome to set up times to come to the Branch to
