Why participate in a Virtual Food Drive?
To get more food to those in need than through traditional food collection drives. Your donation goes towards the purchase of items that are most needed. Get more bang for your buck!  NIFB can stretch your dollar to provide more food to hungry neighbors in 13 northern Illinois counties.  Another benefit is that during traditional food drives many workplaces lack the space to store barrels and boxes of food donated by employees and customers.

Enter the NIFB Virtual Food Drive.

NIFB can help you set-up your Virtual Food Drive, which employees access by clicking on a link sent in a company distributed e-mail. Your Virtual Food Drive can be customized with your company's logo. The company administrator can track the progress of the Virtual Food Drive and send out updates to employees.

Easy and quick-to-use, your employees will “shop” online from a list of items most needed by NIFB. Donors use any major credit card for payment on a secure site and receive an e-receipt immediately.

By participating in a Virtual Food Drive, your financial contribution to NIFB will be dedicated to acquiring food that is most needed by hungry neighbors who rely on NIFB food assistance programs 365 days a year.
