Northern Illinois Food
Bank (NIFB)
seeks your assistance to
help Dr. Alicia McCareins
raise food donations to
help our local communities
provide nourishing meals
for those in need. All
food collected will
directly benefit NIFB
and the hungry people it
serves. Chunky soup
kick-started the
initiative by donating 500
cans to each food bank for
each mom.
Dr. Alicia McCareins,
mother of
Tennessee Titans wide
receiver Justin McCareins,
will be working with 34
other NFL moms to raise
food donations for the
“NFL Moms Tackling Hunger
with Chunky Soup”
program. These moms
represent the Professional
Football Players Mothers
Association. The
McCareins family resides
in Naperville, Illinois
and Justin attended
Naperville North High
School.
NIFB
will be the beneficiary of
all food collected under
Dr. McCareins’
leadership. So sign up
now to host a food drive
in October, November or
December and make a big
difference in the lives of
our hungry neighbors!
All non-perishable
canned food items,
such as fruits and
vegetables, soup,
stew, chili, and tuna
are needed! Food should
not have expired.
The three moms who raise
the largest number of
pounds of food will win a
trip to Tampa during Super
Bowl week, where they’ll
help to announce a
donation of one million
cans of Campbell’s soup to
the Feeding America
network of food banks!
This food drive will run
from October 1 through
December 31, 2008.
