Only 3% of the charities rated have received at least 5 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that NIFB outperforms most charities in America in its efforts to operate in the most fiscally responsible way possible. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates NIFB from its peers & demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.

CROP Walks 2006

CROP WALKS raise funds in support of hungry people around the world. CROP Walks provide a learning experience for walkers which invites walkers to reflect on their relative privilege, and exercise their hope toward a world that works for all. CROP WALKS are community-based fundraising events that raise money for local hunger-fighting agencies as well as the international relief and development efforts of Church World Service.

This year, CROP Walks will share nearly $4 million with food banks, pantries, community gardens, and other local efforts nationwide. This support is made possible when local CROP Walks choose our unique option of returning up to 25 percent of what their CROP Walk raises to hunger-fighting programs in their own community. Click here to learn more about Church World Service and the Chicago/Northern Illinois Regional Office.
