 On
April 4th, Northern Illinois Food Bank
hosted its Tenth Annual Donor Appreciation Dinner - Building Hope,
Feeding Our Future - at Bobak's Signature Events at Seven Bridges in
Woodridge. For the third straight year, Jewel-Osco was the Benefactor Sponsor.
The black-tie optional affair featured delicious foods, silent and live
auctions, and live entertainment.
Denis Savard, Chicago Blackhawk's Hall of Fame Legend, made a special guest
appearance to show his support for hunger relief in northern Illinois, and
guests were excited to rub elbows with a hockey star! Thank you, Denis,
for showing your support! All together, these efforts
helped Northern Illinois Food Bank to raise over $240,000 in just one evening
for hungry neighbors.
