The 2005 Annual Donor Appreciation Dinner - Hope Cuisine - featured Molly O'Neill, author of of three best-selling cookbooks, as the keynote speaker. O'Neill spoke to the nearly 370 attendees about the concept of hosting a Potluck to End Hunger in your community and called everyone to action to raise awareness of hunger in America and funds to support the local food bank through hosting a Potluck To End Hunger.

It takes so many resources and so much commitment to grow the mission of NIFB and to bring more food and hope to thousands of undernourished individuals in the 13 northern Illinois counties served by NIFB.  Each year, NIFB honors outstanding donors who have helped us grow by generously providing food, donations, time, knowledge, leadership and commitment. 

Though NIFB honors different companies and people each year, each and every person who supports NIFB's events, programs and mission are truly part of the foundation that will make the vision of a hunger-free Illinois a possible dream come true. NIFB applauds those supporters that participate in the events to support the dream.
