NIFB Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Facility! 
On July 12th, local, state and federal elected officials, agency partners, volunteers, donors and other supporters joined NIFB staff for their ceremonial groundbreaking celebration for its new Food Distribution and Community Nutrition Center in Geneva. Construction will begin this summer with completion in Spring 2011. The new facility will allow the Food Bank to distribute 60 million pounds of food each year. Stars of Tony Award Winning Show to Benefit NIFB!  Join Northern Illinois Food Bank on Saturday, August 21st for a night that you will never forget. The former stars of Jersey Boys will be performing a benefit concert for the Food Bank: Oh, What a Night! The historic and intimate Arcada Theater in St. Charles is hosting this once in a lifetime event. If you missed them on Broadway, don't miss them this time around. "Friends of the Food Bank" will receive 20% off of their tickets when they enter the code NIFB20!
